Dieter Guelle and I wrote the Metal Detector Handbook to answer a need that had become obvious to both of us. Technical input and an entire chapter were provided by Tom Bloodworth and Adam Lewis of JRC Ispra. The idea for the book, and most of its content and design, was Dieter's. I am proud to acknowledge him as the main author.
